Paralowie’s Multi-Faceted Workshops and Programs
Two Worlds Consultancy run varied and vital educational community and corporate workshops and training in Paralowie and the surrounding regions of South Australia.
Workshops One and Two
Running for three hours, Workshop One includes a ‘Walking in Two Worlds’ and kinship activity. These activities increase understanding and enable participants to embed culture into case planning, management and clinical formulations when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Workshop Two includes the same activities with an added group activity. This encourages participants to undertake group work activities to create, implement and evaluate ways of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in a culturally appropriate manner.
Workshop Three
Drawing upon the skills gained within the first two workshops, this workshop includes details on how to add information and awareness into the construction of strategic planning documents.
Having grasped the approach to culturally appropriate working environments and practices, participants leave this workshop with a clear idea of how to implement responsive practices into their own work.
Workshop Four
This workshop has been designed for clients to create and implement a culturally responsive workplace within their organisation. Building upon the previous activities, this facilitates the collation of a draft plan to embed culturally responsive practices into an organisation.
At an additional cost, the facilitator can collate participant information to write an organisational plan to present back to the organisation.
